Over 1500 athletes from throughout the world braved brutal, record breaking temperatures over 100 degrees to compete in this flat and fast 70.3 event and qualify for Ironman Hawaii or 70.3 World Championships in Clearwater FL. Contested in various formats since the early 1980's, Eagleman is one of the great long course triathlons on the East Coast.
Overall winners were Paul Amey (Pro Men) and Joanna Zeiger (Pro Women) in impressive times considering the horrendous conditions.
