Mission Statement: To improve the quality of peoples' lives through health and wealth.Qualifications: Jene' has completed over 100 races of varying lengths and disciplines including being a 14 time Ironman finisher & member of Team USA in Triathlon for 7 years while simultaneously holding full time executive position AND a single mother of 3. As member of Team USA from 2001-2007 competed in World Championships in various countries and would still be doing so today if not for two car accidents both resulting in spinal injuries. As a CEO of Barton Nelson, a mid-market promotional products company, and a coach, Jene' has firsthand knowledge and experience in how to balance the demands of family, work and meeting personal fitness goals while avoiding overuse injuries and reducing stress. In addition Jene' has experience coming back from numerous physical setbacks beginning with severe asthma at a very young age and working currently to comeback from her second accident resulting in a broken back in 2011 while recovering from an accident resulting in a fused neck in 2007. Jene' is currently training to return to racing in 2013 after several challenging health years. She strives to return to Team USA and Ironman racing in the future. Jene' has obtained 14 different fitness certifications over her coaching career including: National Triathlon Academy & Lifetime Endurance-Triathlon, Focus-n-Fly-running, PEAK and Personal Best Pilates certifications, ACE & Lifetime Personal Training, CPR, AAFA Aerobics & Step Reebok, Johnny G. Spinning. Continued education in personal training, endurance & cycling coaching programs in coordination with Serotta, USA Cycling, Lifetime Fitness, Focus to Fly Running Coach. Passion: As a busy CEO who loves to share her love of fitness with others with a goal to show others you can find time to exercise even if you have a physical challenge, stressful job and a family. It is a choice! Participated in first triathlon at age of 32 as single mother of 3 young children and CFO. Jene' is now a proud mother of 5, grandmother of 1 and CEO. Jene' qualified for World's within 2 years of picking up all 3 sports of triathlon, swim, bike and run. Multi-Sport Involvement:

Race Highlights: Supporting the Kansas City events are a favorite as this is where my love of the sport began. Local races include Shawnee Mission, Longview, Heritage Park, Midwest Meltdown, Topeka Tinman, Lawrence Memorial annually. In addition travel within the USA to National Triathlon and Duathlon Championships, Half & Full Ironman including Lake Placid, Florida, Arizona, Wisconsin, Pig Man, Buffalo Springs, Ralph's, Escape From Alcatraz. Raced at World Championships in Denmark, France, Sweden, Spain, Hawaii, Australia in November 2006. Participate in running and cycling only events as well.
