Jene' believes in moving what we can to stay active and reduce stress within our lives, no matter age, physical limitations, or previous exercise experience. Her motto is to "Train for Life! Jene' was introduced to triathlon in her 30's never before having the swim, bike and run in her background. Growing up Jene' was the sick kid who received her worst grades in gym as her health was such she could frequently not participate. Her asthma was so severe she would have several emergency visits for medical help every week even though she was on the last resort drug of Prednisone. She is still a severe asthmatic however in her 30's the treatment for severe allergies and asthma progressed to the point she now could participate in these sports AND do so outside for the first time in her life! Not only has she overcome the challenge of asthma but has had other health issues requiring 3 surgeries in 3 years. Proudly she boasts no overuse injuries! Everyday Jene' is thankful for what her body can do!

When Jene' first began the sport of triathlon she had no clue what she was doing. Her friends laugh today how similar they were to "Lucy and Ethel go cycling". The first chaotic experience was so much fun she kept at it. Jene' enjoys the sport not just from a physical stand point but also the mental strength, spiritual and incredible friendships which she has gained. Two years after joining the sport Jene' qualified for USAT National Championships at the Olympic Distance. Three years later qualified for ITU Long Distance World's, a full Ironman. Since this time she has competed in over 100 races in running, biking, cyclocross and triathlon enjoying local events as well as 7 World Championships and 13 Ironman finishes. Jene' balances her training with being a CPA, Executive, and for 11 years, a single mother of 3. Recently she married her "Iron Sherpa", Thai, who has traveled the world to the races with her. Jene' feels balance is the key to enjoying and sticking to your training. Training must fit into her clients lives not life into their training. Jene' has been involved in group fitness, coaching, pilates and personal training for over 10 years wanting to give back to the community that has given her so much. "Training is a great stress release a way to energize one's self without caffeine or sugar, spark creativity, and to be inspired by others. I feel empowered and my spiritual bucket is filled every time I race. The people I have met along the way are who keep me going. I am inspired seeing 75 year olds, amputees, wheel chair athletes overcoming odds to MOVE!" Jene' feels the mental toughness she has gained through training and racing has greatly assisted her to persevere through difficult times as a CFO, Mother and individual. "We all have plans for our lives. We all incur obstacles, road

blocks and detours. It is the ability to regroup and progress forward, finding joy in overcoming a challenge that makes the difference between ordinary and extraordinary!" Ironman Hawaii 2007 Jene' had another chance to persevere holding off a needed spinal fusion from an accident until after completing her dream race. In addition, she had 3 flat tires after denting a rim and only 2 spares tubes at 30 miles into the 112 mile bike. She continued on walking her bike several miles before, thankfully, tech support saw her walking and loaned her a wheel allowing her to make the bike cutoff and finish the race! Jene' is here to help you reach your endurance dreams!
