In the past ten years, Lance has learned his craft working in both clinical and non-clinical settings. He has worked for the Denver Broncos Sports Medicine Clinic in Colorado as an exercise specialist, at the prestigious Duke Diet & Fitness Center in Durham and has served as an exercise physiologist at the ViQuest Wellness Center in Greenville. He has real-world experience that has shaped him into the highly regarded endurance athlete coach he is today. Read more...

Kimberly Kazika, Plymouth

Kim's desire to coach grew from her background in competitive swimming. After swimming for a NCAA Division I program and qualifying for the Olympic trials, she transitioned her focus to the sport of triathlon. Over the last 5 years, Kim has coached athletes ranging from elementary school kids to Olympic trial qualifiers. She applies her expertise in nutrition and exercise to propel her athletes to exceed their goals by identifying weaknesses and building on strengths in each athlete's training program, and she prides herself on pushing her athletes beyond their comfort zone in order to achieve something they never thought possible. Mike Buenting, Chanhassen

Mike got involved in coaching a few years back so he could inspire others by sharing his passion for and experience in endurance sports. Mike started strong as a record-setting, high school athlete then fell away from competition for years. In 2005, he started cycling with friends for fun, moved onto triathlons from there and has since participated in dozens of endurance events, including marathons and ultra-distance triathlons. With a 9-year-old daughter who also competes in triathlons, the multisport lifestyle is strong in Mike's family and he loves to preach making it a family thing. After all, you must believe in yourself and surround yourself with positive people who believe in you, too. Read more...
